I think if you can tie you own shoes, you should be exempt from "Nautical Fashion Torment" as a child.

The only thing more disturbing to me than those horrible outfits are the girls' hairdos! It looks like they combined styles of the '40s or '50s (the hair) with the '70s (the clothes). Exactly what type of fashion statement were they trying to make? ;)
That actually looks no worse than the way many boys and girls dress these days. They should be way more embarassed than the girls seen here because they choose to look so dumb.
If I was six years old again I'd totally rock the dress!!!
